To like The Like

Yesterday I was on the Internet when I discovered a new girls band, The Like. This alternative rock band consists of four girls from Southern California, Elizabeth "Z" Berg (vocals / guitar), laena Geronimo (bass), Tennessee Thomas (drums / vocals) and Annie Monroe (organ). What is also interesting is that these girls are daughters of figures of music with some importance. Elizabeth's father is the producer of Geffen called Tony Berg, the father of Charlotte is the producer Mitchell Froom, and the father of Tennesssee, Pete Thomas, is the longtime drummer for Elvis Costello. Not only they have this biological background, they still manage to make the perfect connection between  music and style.

 I liked what I heard  quite a lot, but I liked what I saw even more. Once I knew a little about the musical influences, which are the musical groups of girls of the '60s, the Beatles, Stones, Kinks, The Who and Motown and Wrecking Crew, I realized why these girls are giving that talk not only music scene.

In fashion, we are always making trips to the past to gather inspiration and bring tothe present the essence of those times and use it to create new forms, giving them a single language. With The Like, we can see exactly this process.
